Understand what interviewers want to hear
Learn how to talk about yourself and your skills in a way that is:
- honest
- positive
- impressive
- natural
If you’re an English learner and a professional who wants to switch jobs, companies, or careers… It will take you just 8 weeks to learn how to stand out from the crowd of other job seekers… Without memorizing word lists or complicated grammar drills.
Every day I talk to English learners who should have more confidence…
When they’re asked interview-style questions, they don’t know what to say or how to talk about themselves.
You need to understand what to say… And when to say it. But reading about interview preparation can be overwhelming. There’s too much advice with different perspectives in an internet search. And it’s a lot of work to find the good, high-quality advice.
That’s why I wrote 8 Steps for Interview Prep with my own experience plus the advice of certified Human Resource experts.
Most interview prep material gives you vocabulary lists, questions to ask, or ways to look confident. My 8-week program helps English learners know when to use their knowledge… and feel comfortable during these important professional conversations.
I’ll give you honest but encouraging feedback to get you ready for that interview in 8 weeks!
Learn how to talk about yourself and your skills in a way that is:
Learn how to use simple grammar and powerful vocabulary so you can feel confident and stop saying “Sorry” for your English level.
Because if you can read this page and have a 45-minute conversation, your English is good enough!
Understand common interview mistakes and how to avoid them.
The 8 Steps for Interview Prep program uses advice from 3 certified Human Resource experts, in addition to my language coaching experience.
The 8 Steps for Interview Prep curriculum will get you ready for your interview… The course will go above and beyond to help you feel excited about your next career change!

I will read and respond to every application. If I don't think the program will work for you, I will give you other recommendations. If I do, I'll send you the info to join. You'll have a chance to ask me any questions you have about joining, too!

Start reading the materials, preparing for live calls, and interacting with other participants in the Facebook group!
You’ll get to keep your program materials forever — so don’t lose your files! The Facebook group will be open for at least 6 months.
This live round of the program starts on April 11, 2022.
[The early bonus week starts April 4, 2022.]
I’m here to be your coach, teacher, and advisor. I am not an employer, lawyer, publisher, or analyst.
While I’m invested in your success, your success depends on your own effort, commitment, and follow-through. You and only you are responsible for money earned (or other outcomes) by implementing my advice.
All reviews and testimonials are from actual clients and students. I show their experiences to demonstrate possibilities after using my materials and coaching.
Because of my past clients, I’m confident that if you participate in the program, then you’ll get great results. If you complete the full workbook and all assignments for feedback and are still unhappy with your results after that, I will issue a 50% refund.*
*Please see my values statement for additional details.
As a business owner and professional coach, I — Tina — cannot separate myself from my values. Because I spend a lot of time with my clients, I need to make my values very clear.
Within Tina Teaches English programs, no racism, sexism, or hate speech will be tolerated in any conversation. Human rights will not be argued about. I support Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ+ rights.
I expect discussions and comments — on calls and through comments in the community — to reflect these values. Applying for my program implies you agree to follow these rules and agree to uphold the stated values.
If a course member violates these values through harassment, starting arguments, or making statements contradicting the values listed here, that member must leave the program without a refund.
You get access to all your course materials! Everyone who joins the program a week early will have one additional live group call with me for initial questions, and an additional job-seeking skills workshop. [All other course participants will have access to the workshop & call replays.]
If this is your first week, you get access to all your course materials! You can immediately start using the workbook and templates to get organized. And we talk about what interviewers want to hear and why... So you know *exactly* what to focus on during the rest of the course.
You'll learn how to choose the best experiences to talk about with your interviewer and use the templates to create impressive answers to the most common interview questions.
We practice and perfect the stories you've made for all interview situations - even the most difficult questions. You'll also end week 6 with a professional introduction you're excited to use the next time anyone asks, "Can you tell me about yourself?"
You will get direct interview practice with me as well as networking practice with the group. You'll end week 8 feeling confident with your job search.
You’ll get to keep your program materials forever — so don’t lose your files! The Facebook group will be open for at least 6 months.
