Words are my thing.

Content Writing

My content writing covers ghostwritten travel, language, B2B services, and both business- and consumer-focused events or festivals.

You can find examples of my personal writing projects on both this blog and my other blog, Tina’s Travels Abroad. (I also wrote and published a book, which you can read about below!)

I have other highlights and testimonials on my LinkedIn profile.

Copyediting & Proofreading

I performed the initial copyedits, formatting, and final pass proofreading of the independently published 18 Service Pillars.

I have edited and proofread countless other landing pages, websites, blogs, and white papers for companies like CS3 Technology and The Bridge.

MisFEST: Music is She & She is Music

I am the Communications and Social Media Director for the annual women’s music festival MisFEST – from 2017 through the present.

I direct social media strategy, write press releases and web copy, direct photographers, and assist during press appearances with festival talent.

We showcase the talented women in the local and regional music scenes, since they are often overlooked in my area’s other music festivals. In 2019 we had the phenomenal KT Tunstall as our headliner!

Here is a blog post I wrote about MisFEST Year 2.

Social Media & Events

From 2015 through the present, I’ve been a team member of Social Media Tulsa, working on outside projects and the Social Media Tulsa Conference production team.

I do live social media coverage at large festivals with Social Media Tulsa’s event team, including Oktoberfest, Scotfest, and the Center of the Universe Music Festival.

Long-Ago Internship Highlights

During the summer of 2014 I was the Content Marketing Intern for FlatClub, now Benivo, and wrote over 20 blog posts, white papers, and city guides. This was my first professional writing work – so I had to list it for nostalgia’s sake.

8 Steps for Interview Prep: Writing and Independently Publishing

After helping many Business English students during 1-on-1 coaching sessions, I had the idea to write a book. I drafted it, self-edited, found a team of excellent developmental and line editors as well as proofreaders, and self-published (now marketing) this book myself.

18 Service Pillars

I did the first line edits and final proofreading pass for the CS3 CEO’s book on company culture, called 18 Service Pillars: The Basis of an Exceptional Organization.
I managed the writing, editing, and uploading process for this self-published book.

Let’s write something great together!
